Ongoing Projects

SBU assess relevant and well-conducted research and investigate what effect different interventions have, if there are any risks or ethical problems, and what is most cost-effective in the areas of health care, dentistry, social services, and within the areas of functional disability and work environment.

Planned to be published: Quarter 4, 2027 Registration no: 2026/200

Aim

An increasing number of people with increasingly complex care needs receive healthcare in the home. This development is driven by demographic changes, particularly an aging population, as well as by medical and technological advances. A defining characteristic of care provided in ordinary housing is that it is delivered in environments that are not purpose-built for healthcare provision.
