Influence of delay on breast cancer surgery outcome

In Sweden as well as worldwide, breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosis in women, and surgery is the primary treatment for curative care. As the time between diagnosis and surgery can vary substantially, it is essential to know if wait time for operative procedures may influence surgery outcomes.
