SBU assess relevant and well-conducted research and investigate what effect different interventions have, if there are any risks or ethical problems, and what is most cost-effective in the areas of health care, dentistry, social services, and within the areas of functional disability and work environment.

Background

Since 2011, the Swedish Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Assessment of Social Services (SBU) has had a mandate from the Swedish government to systematically assess the evidence for associations between occupational exposures and health issues.

Aim

The aim of this systematic review is to assess possible associations between occupational exposures to various agents and developing astma or COPD.
