Adherence to lifestyle advice

A common advice for diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and hyperlipidaemia is to change lifestyle. The advice can be for example to reduce the amount of fat, sugar and salt in the food, lose weight, exercise daily, reduce alcohol consumption and stop smoking. An important question is if there are differences in adherence to lifestyle advice depending on if the patient is treated with medication or not.
